The Wireless Intelligence, Security, and Emerging Resilient Systems (WiSER) Laboratory at the University of Arizona is directed by Prof. Ming “Fred” Li. We conduct research in the general areas of Wireless, AI/ML, and Security, with the current emphases on security, privacy, resiliency and robustness aspects of AI-powered Next-Generation (NextG) networks, and trustworthy networked intelligent/autonomous systems. Our mission is to develop both solid foundations and practical mechanisms for security, privacy and performance assurance in emerging networked systems, so as to improve their social welfare.

Our work is regularly published in conferences and journals in the areas of security/privacy, networking, and AI/ML, and has been supported by funding from NSF, DoD (ARO and ONR), DoE, and industry partners.
